SECOND GENERATION LICCA

......

This is the earliest version of the 2nd generation Licca, also known as "New Licca", released in 1972 (#3 according to Ms Nakamura's classification). Her head mold is very similar to 1st generation Licca. She is wearing her original dress and magnetic shoes.

.....

The dress she is wearing is actually a 1st generation outfit and is called "Port Wine". She's standing on a real magnetic stand from the "New Licca" period (but actually meant for her mother), when you push the stand it looks like she's actually walking. This is a late period 2nd generation Licca, #6 from 1979. She has a slightly smaller, rounder face than the doll below.

This is a second generation Licca, a #4 (around 1975) according to Ms. Nakamura Futaba's classification ("Licca and Japanese Fashion Dolls"). She's in absolutely mint condition and looks fabulous, the only thing missing is the white rose in her hair. She's half an inch smaller than the current version of Licca, and she has a big head and a small body, so recent clothes don't fit her well.
